<p>CWF is an umbrella organization for grassroots women-led savings and credit cooperatives established with its objective to foster a robust network among community-driven women cooperatives throughout Nepal. It is officially registered as a non-profit, non-governmental organization on 29 th Mangsir 2067 BS (15 th December 2010) under Kathmandu District Administration Office (DAO) and affiliated with Social Welfare Council (SWC) in Nepal.More than 34 women saving and credit cooperatives and self-help groups covering 9 Districts in 5 provinces are currently affiliated with Community Women Forum (CWF).</p>

CWF Creates a supportive environment for women-led initiatives in Nepal by implementing various community led projects and programs on various themes through its member cooperatives. The theme includes women rights, gender and social inclusion, housing and slum upgrading, WASH facilities improvements, climate change and disaster risk reduction etc.
