Relief distribution to Rasuwa Flashflood Survivors
The Community Women Forum (CWF) distributed 100 table fans to flood survivors staying at the Bada Chautara Holding Center in Nuwakot on Monday, September 21, to help them cope with extreme heat and mosquito bites.
The survivors were rescued from various areas of Rasuwa following the devastating Bhotekoshi flood on August 26, 2026. According to the survivors, the excessive heat and mosquito bites had made it difficult for them to sleep at night. Responding to their request, CWF provided the table fans as relief support for the second time.
CWF expressed sincere gratitude to the women cooperatives affiliated with the Forum, its Board members, staff, and well wishers for their contributions and support in providing relief to the flood-affected families.
